Board rack problems

On my 2019 LSV 23, my board racks are sticking. The push button will push in to release the clamps, but will not pop back out, then the clamps will not work. It take a lot of time and tools to get the button to pop out, to be able to clamp down again. Just WD 40 doesn’t work. 
 

does anyone have a good fix for this? Can the buttons be replaced?

I have this issue on my '21.  Simply push the button while pushing the lever back and it should pop out for you.

loosen the Allen bolts a little to free up the mechanism.  I had to do this with my rack as it tightened as we used it.

I realize t his is an older post but if you or anyone is having issues with the release buttons you more than likely have the older buttons. You can send these in to PTM for replacement or we can send you the new buttons and you can replace them yourselves. Here's a short install video. These will be sent at no charge.

I have 2015 wakesetter and G3 tower and my board racks are stuck facing outwards. I’ve tried spraying wd40 in them to try get the button to pull out and still nothing. I need to swivel them back in as it’s a bit dangerous for transporting. Any recommendations please
