2000 Malibu VLX Sunsetter Surf Prop Selection

Hey gang,

Never looked into props until recently and would love some suggestions for a new prop for my boat. We’ve basically transitioned mostly to surfing and as such are running the boat mostly close to max weight capacity with bags in the rear compartments and one in the ski locker. Seeing as it’s a 20 year old boat my concern is putting too much strain on the engine constantly running it a slower speeds with max weight. Any suggestions on props that might help to mitigate that? Or props that are better for surfing? I’ve got a decent ding in one of the blades so I’d be looking to replace the prop either way…The boat has the 5.7L indmar 310 hp

I had a 1941 prop and just installed a 2247 prop. I like the 2247. Lots of bottom end
