Very newbie to LSV23

I just picked up a 2012 LSV23 and when trying to connect my iPhone XS to the stereo via USB connect in the glove box, the system just flashed AUX. RD.  This goes for a few minutes but doesn’t connect.  The manual says the USB is not comparable with all formats.  I tried Spotify, my own music on Apple Music and Amazon music.  No dice on any of these.  Any suggestions? Can I purchase a Bluetooth connector for this system?  I think the system is PCKFord system.

thanks

Some older IPhones can connect using the white 30 pin adaptor cable that plugs into the round DIN plug in the glove box.  Anything with the lightning plug will not work.

The USB is really only designed to be used for thumb drives with MP3 files.

There are several aftermarket Bluetooth receivers available.  Check out the ones from Wetsounds.  They can be connected to the AUX 3.5 plug or to the RCA connectors for the AUX adaptor in the glove box.
