300 hr Spark plug change

Recommended Posts

16 of the Motorcraft CYFS-12FP spark plugs at 0.044 inch gap should do the trick.  Be careful when removing the upper on-plug coils to avoid damaging the boots.  The original set of upper plugs were different than the lower plugs, but according to Indmar the replacement spark plugs are all the same.

Those motor craft plugs are under $4 at rock auto.  Not too bad for iridiums

need to check that next time, my 5.7’s were $11 at auto zone!

Beats the $14 each my dealer wants for  the Autolite XP5363 if that is even the right plug?  Bakes is showing the Motorcraft CYFS-12FP @ $9.99 ea. Ebay can do 16 for $72.25

Thanks again for your help guys.

Yep headed there now. Get packages regularly from them anyway. Mainly wanted to be sure I had the right part #.
