2013 LSV neutral detent location

This sounds like a no brainer new boater question. My friend was saying there was not a neutral position on his new to him 2013 LSV. I was calling BS and went to look to call him on it. Sure enough, if there is a provision for it, I am not seeing it. 2013 owners a little help please. TIA.

To clarify, I am looking for the button that you have to pull or push to disengage the transmission to be able to rev the engine.

There isn't one.

If for some reason you need to rev the motor for service, you disconnect the wires from the shift solenoids

Thanks @oldjeep will let him know. Odd that is the only Malibu I have been on that doesn’t.
