2013 VLX Kick Panel Removal

Recommended Posts

Working on replacing the steering cable and I have pulled it as far as I can but it is now stuck.  I need to get the kick panel out so I can see what it is hung up on.  I have found the screws and removed them but it is still behind another trim piece and the piece with the cup holders.  Removed more screws in the side trim piece but it still did not release it to come out.  What am I missing?

I read some other posts about cutting the cable at the wheel and pulling it the other way but I of course broke the rope so once I get the damn thing out it will be an entirely new issue :)

I was also curious if anyone knows the length?  It is a 2013 Wakesetter 21 VLX.  I was told it is stamped on the cable but no dice....

Thank you in advance!
