My clock reverts to 12am each time I kill the batteries?  Anyone know where it should be wired to stay hot?

Not trying to be a smarty-pants, but if you hook it to the battery it will not turn off.  That could be as simple as moving the wire to the battery side of your switch.

Thanks I was assuming Malibu would have done that when it was new?  I am also assuming that display module is part of the overall computer system as it isn't a stand alone clock?

On my 2010 and it should be pretty much the same on your ‘08 there were 2 wires, red and yellow that were the wires for the radio/clock/memory connected to the black box on the back of the amp board. One had an inline glass fuse, the red one as I recall. I do remember I had issues with that setup for years before I finally replaced the glass fuse holder with an updated blade type. Hope this helps.
