fuel injectors

Recommended Posts

I have a 1996 Malibu Response with the Indmar Monsoon 320.

The fuel system is the Cutler MPI with Rochester injectors.

The injectors have never been removed/cleaned. I want to install

new injectors but cannot find their part numbers. No numbers on the injectors.

The old ones are very deteriorated and dirty. Can't get anyone at Indmar and Cutler is out of business.

Holley is no help. If anyone has a Indmar  parts book maybe it has the part numbers for the correct injectors.

Consider getting them cleaned and overhauled.  Fuel injectors are scarce and expensive right now.  I use this guy and he's good, cheap and fast.  He can also replace any that can't be cleaned.  I suspect he could identify them from a pic.  I'm not entirely sure on that motor but you'll need to order a new set of seals for the plenum you'll need to pull off to get to the fuel rail.

Thanks for the fast reply DrFred,

The old ones are beyond repair-really bad!!!  I found a set of (8) on Ebay.

The P/N is: 17095004,  The application stated they are for a '95-'97 Chevy 5.7L.

My engine is a 1996 Chevy 5.7L.

Also, a previous post here gave that same P/N. I'm going to "go-for-it"!

I will post my findings later.
