I am getting an error code of SPN:94 FMI:3.  It will randomly go off sometimes when my rider falls and I go to neutral.  The shop is telling me that it "might" be the fuel pump but it will take 3 weeks for them to even look at it.  I can power off the motor and when it restarts it will run fine, until it throws the code again.  My question, am I hurting anything by continuing to turn the motor off and running the boat with this error code?

High pressure is more likely caused by the regulator.  It might be worth your time to inspect the pump and regulator to make sure you don't have some obvious problem like a pinched return hose.

The main issue with continued driving under a true high pressure situation would be a situation where the ECM can no longer correct for the rich fuel mixture.  If it throws a code for that, quit using it since you could burn out your catalysts.
