2021 VTX With No Plyon Hole Cap?

Hi,

Has anyone that has a VTX 20 with the optional pylon not get a cap to cover the hole in the middle of the cabin? Mine did not come with one. I have the sales person looking into it but he is overwhelmed at a small dealership.

I imagine the dealers service department can get it from Malibu. It’s not anywhere in the boat? Glove box, storage cubbies by the driver, or any other storage areas? I think both our 2020 and 2019 were shipped with the pylon in place and not in its storage spot so maybe it’s floating around somewhere.

Did your boats come with the cap? Perhaps you never desired to remove the pylon so you haven't considered a cap? Our last VTX had a table with a pylon-like post that also had a cap for the hole in the floor.

Yes it did. We ski from the removable pylon both on my 19 and now 20. I think the pylon is installed while shipped from the factory so that’s why I suggest looking all over the boat. The cap for the floor might be there somewhere. If not have your dealer get another one for you.
