axis a20 (2021) blower not working

Recommended Posts

Hi, my blower seems to have stopped working (I can't hear it running), the light comes on, but no noise. The owners manual doesn't really explain directly a fuse to the blower, does anyone know if there is a fuse or a a circuit breaker and where it might be located?

Also does anyone know where the blower is and what it looks like (picture)?

thanks in advance!

Joel

The blower fuse is in the primary power module under the dash.  There are two large power modules under the dash and they both have a black plastic cover with decals showing the fuse position and rating of each circuit for the dash buttons.  It is a bit crowded with wiring under there and they can be very difficult to access.

I would also recommend checking the Weather Pack connector with a yellow and a black wire that goes to the blower motor.  The blower motor is a white plastic cylinder with large corrugated black plastic vent hoses connected to it that is mounted on the transom of the boat at the very back of the engine compartment.  A blown fuse, loose wire, or faulty blower motor can prevent the blower from working.

Thank you csleaver, big help on this one. We found the fuse with your suggestions and changed it and blower seems to be working fine, hopefully it was a fluke and will be fine going forward. I have attached some pictures of the left and right side fuse boxes and the blower for others to help. For the 2021 A20 the blower fuse is in the right box the farthest to right for me. It is a nightmare to get the thing open and fuses in and out, would love to hear if there is some "trick of the trade" here. The fuse is a 7.5amp and most fuse kits don't include this, so you may want to add a few to your kit!

We checked the juice at the blower before trying to pry open the box and there was no juice, I would recommend people trying that first as the fusebox is a nightmare.
