Which Pertronix kit?

My mercruiser tag is C756871 on my 1990 Malibu Skier Euro F3 - she’s a super cherry 2nd owner boat with just over 400 hrs but finding the right NOS components is getting $$$ and it’s time to make a switch on points.  Anybody know which Pertonix kit(s) is the correct one?  I’ve been unable to find one and bows the time waiting on starter rebuild.  Thanks!

A tag number doesn't help most people know what engine you have, so you aren't going to get a whole lot of help without a photo or something.  That said, if we assume that you are talking about a GM 5.7L, perhaps this thread will help:

Didn’t know that on on the tag number.  I’ve always used the mercruiser parts site and it’s quicker.  To that end, yes.  It’s the 5.7L 350 https://www.mercruiserparts.com/5-7l-competition-ski-gm-350-v-8-1987-199-1

didn’t see anything on the links that provided a pertronix part number so hoping anyone with knowledge can help out.

Thanks again!

A few members here work at places that might have a way to look those things up, but the huge majority of us are just regular folks helping out.  You will always get more help by listing more information.  I decided to give you thirty seconds of my time and search google for you, and that thread popped up.

The second post in the link I shared clearly stated ML-181 as the part he used.  The link he posted is dead, but a search just showed me a whole list of vendors who have them for under $100 shipped.

Here's another thread that mentions replacing the spark system on a Mercruiser.  In it, @Woodski recommends using Thunderbolt IV or V:

Whatever you do, make sure it is marine rated so you don't blow yourself up.
