Hi guys, 

I’m a bit of a novice with this kind of thing. 

Just after a bit of help with a ticking/creaking noise from the V drive on our 2013 22 MXZ. Just a slight ticking noise on the first click going forwards. If I rotate it round with my hand when the engine is off it still makes the noise. Doesn’t sound like it’s inside. 

Has anyone had this before or know what it could be? Definitely coming from the V drive flange or joint. Also doesn’t do it all the time, sometimes nothing at all.

So, have you checked the flange to make sure it is still tight?  This should probably include checking the flange nut and set screw as well.  While you are at it, go ahead and check the alignment.
