G3.5 Tower Struts

Has anybody updated their tower struts to a heavier strut after adding tower speakers?

I am researching and finding struts for the G3 tower but nothing for our tower. Wondering if anybody has had luck as I added 4 Rev 10 and the tower has become extremely heavy. One person cannot handle it alone.

I added 2 rev 10 and I can do it by myself but it’s a pain in the butt. want in on this too. Did you check the serial or manufacturer of the ones you have?

If you have two pairs of Rev10's, one or two pairs of spinner or PTM board racks, and a bimini top, then you will probably need two of these from Malibu:

5611026, Gas Spring, 315#, G3 Tower, 18

No bimini?  Go with one of each of these:

5611013, Gas Spring, 215#, G3 Tower, 11

5611016, Gas Spring, 275#, G3 Tower, 15to

Your dealer should have a chart available that determines what shocks are used for different tower speaker, rack, bimini combinations.
