340 monsoon throttle return spring

Any one have any info on getting a throttle return spring for my 2004 Malibu 23 lsv, with 340 monsoon engine?? Cheers guys!!

I presume yours broke.  I keep piano wire of various sizes on the shelf so I can fabricate replacement springs or linkages to get me going.  If it really matters to me, I'll keep looking for an OEM replacement, but at least the thing works while I'm looking.  If you have both pieces it helps greatly so you can count the turns and put the bent ends in the correct places, but the wire is cheap enough to make several and try them out if you aren't sure.

Thanks man good idea!!  Just impossible to find parts for this year of boat, living an Vancouver island doesn’t help either, not much for v drives around here, cheers!
