340 monsoon heater plugs

Recommended Posts

I have a 2015 monsoon 350 with no heater.  The plugs plugging the hot water supply and return keep failing and filling my bilge with water (like I need to replace every year or 2.  Should I just connect them with a rubber hose so it’s like I have a heater but not really?  Would that be less likely to fail?  I feel like the pressure on a rubber plug is what’s causing it to fail over and over vs it being hose where water can flow through?

edit: maybe one is a supply for a shower which I don’t have either..still would it be less likely to fail to run a hose between the two?  I do run heavy ballast but usually around 3700 rpms wake and surf.
