Diacom marine report results

Boat won’t start . Had a Diacom marine report run and in report there is a line that reads “Emergency stop input - ON”. Does this mean the ECM detected a problem and shut boat down me is still in shut down mode?” I was having stalling and sputtering problems when acceleratingElector and rough running engine and it finally just cut off and won’t restart. Cranks hard and has measured fuel PSI of 60. I also got an Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) Actuation Fault.   FMI: 7  Mechanical system not responding or out of adjustment.

I do not know what you should do, but if it were me... I'de delete the codes and try to start it while manually operating the throttle body. This way I could see if there is something wrong with the throttle actuator or cable going to it. Then start replacing parts if it works.

I think it will crank but not start.  Verify that by pulling the lanyard and cranking the engine. 

Then put the lanyard back and actually verify that the switch is good.

So dear freinds. I do some researach & tests and my problem is not the "oil pressure"....the "Global warning 2" is still the ghost in my boat...

General Warning #2 is caused by the transmission temperature switch on engines with the MEFI4 ECM.

The earlier trans-temp switch with spade connectors is normally open and will cause a general warning #2 when the switch is closed.

CSleaver - thank you SO MUCH for your tip! I will test it!! By the way - the symptoms adequate to your tip ...in the MEFI4 user manual, is Transmission temperature linket to the "General Warning 1".
