New lines on the 25 LSV

Good looking boat.  Great choice on the colors for the jagged side.  I worry about all those different edges looking terrible when choose my colors.

I am sure I am going to get blasted for this but we need an intervention on some of these 25LSV gel schemes. Thought I would come around on the lines but still not a fan.  If not done correctly they look like my grandmothers patchwork quilt!

I really like what they have done with the lines on this boat.
you can build a nice clean classic like this one. Or go all out.

Agreed, ☝🏼That’s what we ordered, excited to see what it looks like in person.

Which dealer has that demo boat? Looks similar to what I am ordering. 😄

The black and red one is/was at Inland Boat Company. They have two YouTube videos up and lots of still pictures on their website.

Sorry, it was the first customer boat received at our dealer. The customer was gracious enough to allow the dealer to demo it for a few days. Here’s a few more pics.

Has there been an answer back from anyone on the vinyl patterns in the builder vs what we are seeing in the wild,

I prefer this pattern on the sun pad, and rear seats vs what shows in the builder

and is 1 cup holder vs 2 cup holders on the transom seats an option?
can you get the soft grip in that spot , if you go with 2 cup holders?

Thanks DFW.  Is that Vapor Blue metallic?  I like the gel better than that interior, but overall it is a good looking boat to me.

Honestly, we struggled with this quite a bit. Below is our first and second attempt to “tone down” how busy (dare I say obnoxious) the lines on this boat truly are.

We actually ordered version number two, but I was never in love with it.

Shortly thereafter we spent time on the demo boat and I really didn’t like this look either.

This one is the best by mile.  I will withhold judgement on the rest so as not hurt anyone feelings;)

Ok dudebros,

Got our first weekend on it and this thing is sick!!!

Physical Appearance

Still getting used to it a bit as I really liked the lines on the 19 model and I’m not a pickle fork guy because I like my boat looking like a boat. The 4” higher rail is noticeable and sits significantly higher in the water, so I will never have to worry about dipping the bow. It doesn’t quite look like a floating bathtub like a Centurion but it’s certainly closer.

Driving

Coming from a 22, you notice the difference immediately. It’s so much more stable and actually handles better. It’s just more boat. It will hold a straight line at slower speeds and while surfing there is minimal counter steer. I don’t know if they tightened up the cables on purpose as well, but I can take my hands off the wheel to grab something with a surfer in the back and not have to worry about careening into the levee.

The M6 engine sounds a bit more like a tractor but it’s quieter and smoother.

Interior

The storage seems a bit narrower but it’s so deepWe didn’t have it fully loaded yet with all the usual goodies, but there was so much room to spare.

We have the blue lines against the sepia seadeck and it looks so nice against the blue we have on the stitching and on the outside. Sparkle gel coat schemes are like cotton candy, a little goes a long way, so we were leery about having it but it looks pretty money against the white.

Seats feel a bit firmer, which I like, and the upholstery seems a bit thicker as well.

Life jacket storage over the engine is deeper as well though it’s now a panel so you have to lift three doors to get to it.

Still figuring what to do with the console/wet bar. I think the Yeti back cooler would work in there nicely. No clue what to do with the sink yet.

Behind driver seat is just a flat padded area so we picked up a few plastic baskets to carry coozies, hold personal effects, and whatnot.

There are drains everywhere but won’t need them much because I doubt I’ll be dipping the bow anytime soon.

Absolutely love the wakeview bench now. So much easier to slide around and the snack tray provides a nice place to keep the kids in one spot while eating.

Wife immediately took advantage of the forward facing pop-up cushions and took a killer nap during our first break-in period.

Bimini

So much easier to deal with now. You don’t have to take off that little arm to get the ball socket in now which was my only gripe about the 19. The board holders on top are now diagonal so you can stand on the side rails of the boat to grab your stuff.

Only issue is I don’t know where to put my flag holder now as there’s no way to get the holder up through the middle or off to the side on the 3” tubing.

Surf wave

Still kind of figuring it out, but it is so much longer than before. Auto-settings has it set for 11.6, but I didn’t feel it was steep enough so 11.2 seemed to be the sweet spot. I’m pretty sure I can surf the 2nd wave out there as well. WIll report back with my findings.

I would not want to be another boat trying to pass our 3rd and 4th waves. People driving by would point and laugh about what they were about to get themselves into. We’re on the delta in channels so I am going to be real considerate about where we surf.

Fully laden with wedge on 3 clicks and I’m only pushing about 3,400rpm with the stock prop.

Wakeboarding

Have not gotten back there yet, but looks money which is to be expected.

Other note

The cell phone holders up front are an add-on. Certainly not a need to have, but it looks a bit bare up there. Dealer looking into adding those when we come in for first service.

Trailering

Take note that it requires a 2 5/16” ball. We only have the standard dual axle, and it trailers even better than the 22’. I drive a Denali 1500 and was plenty of vehicle. I only mention this as I see people around here thinking they need to upgrade.

This thing is long. Really long. We have two pretty tight 90 degree turns that I could barely do with our 22’ to get to our house and it was late at night when I tried, but I don’t think I could make both of them.

We already got a few, “hey, nice boat!” which is always pretty sweet to hear. I think we also have the first one in California **high-fives self**

Kudos on figuring out a way to work with those crazy gel lines. Gorgeous boat!

Beautiful boat!  I am pretty sure momma Barlibear may kill you for posting a photo of her sleeping.

Thanks!

You’re probably right, but that what she gets for sleeping on new boat day. Now that I think about it, she took 3 naps on the boat this weekend. The smoke from the fires isn’t terrible where we are but something about it this weekend really took the wind out of her sails.

My wife is like that also.  She can't sleep at night, but put her in a moving airplane, car, or boat and she is out cold.   Luckily we are seeing some progress with our wildfires finally.  It has been a brutal fire season in Montana.

To us, simpler is better. We got a good deal on our 2019 because it was black and white with tan interior and the dealer couldn’t sell it because it was ‘too plain’
