Just bought 1990 Malibu euro f3. The boat has 339 original hours on it, runs great. Current prop is a johnson 9 2000. Is this factory? What would you recommend for Sunday afternoon cruising and pulling a few towables? It tops out at about 38 to 40 mph.

For basic runabout work, you want your engine to just hit redline (probably 4,800 to 5,000 RPM for your motor) when it is wide open.

Phil, I own a 1992 Euro f3 Sunsetter, it has the factory prop still on it and its a Three Blade 13X13 OJ  Prop. In good water, with two people on board I top out at 45mph.

Do You have a Skier or a Sunsetter in the euro F3 ?  The prop setup is different depending on the model, year. You May have a four blade prop.

I don´t know much about this but, WakeMakers has a prop list you could check that out and give them a call to see what they recommend.
