Shaft/Pin Found in Bilge

Recommended Posts

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1CFYGaTXwX3ufSiRbv1wbDf5KUveeNU2o/view?usp=drivesdk I found this stainless steel shaft/pin in the bottom of my 2010 Malibu VTX. Does anyone know where it came from? I have replaced the paddle wheel multiple times and probably dropped the shaft but it seems different than the ones I've put in. Any help is appreciated!

Because you have replaced a couple paddle wheels already. And they were probably replaced due to trailer bunk contact/damage. I am guessing that might be the shaft that the paddle wheel spins on. Although the cobbled up ends seem kind of uncharacteristic for a finished product. Having replaced prop shaft seals and a rudder on my 2010 LSV, I can confirm that it isn't from any of the running gear.
