2017 axis fault code

Recommended Posts

Hello Everyone,

was wondering if someone could help point me in the right direction of what this fault code is that’s setting off the alarm on my 2017 Axis. The owners manual does not specify this code.

Fault 1

SPN 04

FMI 0

If you have any insight into this code please feel free to respond to this post. The help will be greatly appreciated.

I can't find a listing for SPN 04, but SPN 94 FMI 0 is a primary fuel pressure high pressure warning.  It can be caused by a a faulty pressure regulator, a restricted fuel line, faulty fuel pressure sensor, bad wiring or connection, or an ECM issue.

I couldn’t find a list for SPN 04 either that’s why I was wondering if anyone knew what it might mean on this forum. I did see what SPN 94 meant. This issue is odd, but I typed it out exactly how the code came up. It’s extremely odd and keeps turning on the buzzer and I’m just trying to get it resolved. Thank you for your response!

Any chance you can post a photo of the code?
