I’m new to boat world. I winterized boat myself from help of everyone on here much appreciated. Only thing I did not get to was fogging the motor. Should I be worried or what would I need to do. Also what fluids and steps do I need to do before getting back in the water for first time. Much appreciated. Boat is a 2008 Wakesetter 23LSV

No worries on not fogging the engine. I have done that exactly zero times in my life.

Your need of fluids depends how you put it away, and your level of fastidiousness. I change oil in the fall (usually october), and again in the spring (today for one bost), v drive fluid in the spring as well. Check your manual for the tight fluids.

Assuming you do not have closed cooling....  If you left your engine with the block full of antifreeze, just run it off a fake a lake to clear out the antifreeze.  If you left the block empty, just run it off a fake a lake to make sure it runs right.

Check fluid levels. Battery, make sure its clean inside and out, fresh coat of wax and enjoy.

Definitely planned on doing oil change and v drive oil as well. Just wasn’t sure if there’s a fuel filter or anything else that was a must.

im assuming I do not it’s a monsoon 340. I did just leave block completely empty

No need to fog in Texas anyway - we don't get cold enough for long enough.  I have fogged and I have not fogged - no difference either way, and the dealer told me not to bother.  Make sure all your drain plugs are in, gas it up and go -  keep an eye out for anything loose or any leaks.  I also changed my oil in October - will change it again later in the season along with the impeller.

Ha - meaning the boat isn't likely to be sitting for very long compared to some of the unfortunate souls who are laid up for 8 months at a time.  Here you can probably boat until New Years Day and then start again in March - without a wetsuit.
