Water levels in Northern California

We have our annual Trinity Lake boating trip in early august. I see by the local info it says that USFS Trinity Centers boat ramp will not see water this year.  Has anyone been up to Trinity to see the water levels?  I know there low, but Trinity is a pretty good size lake. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!  Here is a link to the local info on water levels.

I know Lake Nacimiento is already in the 30% range.  It’s central coast California not northern, but ya water is gonna be terrible by July and August.  Watch out for those hazards!

Still raining in Seattle... we have plenty of water in the lakes, so come on up and play   Just make sure you bring a jacket (and you will likely need a wetsuit... our water temps in Aug are probably what you consider "early spring" temps :-O.  I grew up in Arizona... I miss warm water :-/

I was wondering when a water-level in CA. post would appear. I live in central CA. and our bigger lakes, Lake Millerton and Lake Don Pedro are very, very low for May. At Lake Millerton the water will never reach the primary launch this year so they are using the secondary launch which is better than nothing but cannot handle too many trucks and boats. Lake Don Pedro is also very low but as of right now, you can launch at moccasin point. The really scary situation is Folsom Lake. It is uber low and some ramps are 50 yards from water. I did not know how low Lake Nacimiento was until I saw this post but I have been there so I am not surprised. I have also read that even Lake Powell, never been but hear it is HUGE, is low for this time of year. Let's all hope this is a 1 year drought. Some may be tempted to take their boat to the delta and launch from someplace like Stockton, at Whiskey Slough. I have been there and it is a nice setup for those in search of water here in CA. One word of caution though; once on the delta you can quickly go from fresh water to a combination of fresh and salt water without even noticing.

Chelan right?  Been on it several times and it’s definitely cold. One of my go to lakes here in Central Oregon is maybe in the high 60s come end of August. So I invested in a wetsuit....lol. 
 

Back to the water levels, yeah California is looking really bad for sure. My buddy is going to Shasta this weekend. I will report back on how low it is.
