Anybody experience a cracked wedge?

(firstly I tried to search but wasn’t getting a hit of cracked + wedge)


I was experiencing an issue where my actuators were not working so I was going to replace. When I started to deal with it, I noticed a crack on the wedge arm fight af the hole where it swings from the bracket.  Needless to say I have removed the wedge and luckily I have a fabricator who can grind it and weld it and make it good as new (I hope!)
