Engine issue after bump

Recommended Posts

This weekend I was out on my 2013 wake setter with the Inmar 409ss motor. I hit a wake a little hard. when I went to move to full throttle the engine dies. It starts right up and will run till about 3K RPM then just dies. I am not sure if the is some connection lo check. I did notice a small leak on the on the exhaust manifold. An elbow on the bottom side of the ETXCAT is dripping at idle. When I throttle up it stops . Could this be sucking air causing the a heat sensor to trip?

This is a new to me boat and the 4th time out.
