2005 vlx heater relocation

I want to add a subwoofer into my boat. Under the helm. But after removing the foot rest I come to find out my heater is back there and it’s eating up a lot of the room. I’m thinking of relocating it somewhere else or moving it up out of the way to make a box fit down there and still have some leg room. Anyone have a heater in their boat with  a subwoofer down there Where do you guys have your heaters located? (I would post a picture but I haven’t yet figured outgrow time upload a photo from my iPhone on to here)

Many are relocating to passenger side storage area.  Heater is simple, 2 water hoses, and then your 2-3 hot air hoses.  Install manual should be available from heatercraft.

In the newer boats, people have relocated to under drivers side bench seats, but think it would be tough due to space on an 05.

I've found that it is usually best to mount the heater core as low as possible, unless you are using a circulation pump or low speed wye plumbing fitting.
