Lead addition for A22.

All,

I was curious if you added lead to your new A22 to help the wave in any way shape or form. I searched and found a few older threads from 2015 and 2016 but other than that not much in the archives. While it had some good information seemed a bit outdated.

If you have a 2020 or 2021 A22 what is the setup you're running?

Picking up my 2019 A22 next Friday, already have 200lb ready for the nose.  Most owners of the current hull design that I have talked with all comment how much the A series (and T series) like bow weight.

Where is the best spot to put the extra 200 lbs. of lead in the A20 bow?  Close to the batteries or more forward in the bow?

I'm a fan of lead too.  I don't have the newest gen a22, but I'll say the best thing about lead is how easy it is to move around.  It can help you shape the wake or balance the boat out for boarding.  I have 6 x 50lbs from lead wake and can't say enough good things about that product.

i really like my 8 25’s and 6 35’s, the 25’s for storage sit draped over the 2 seat railings for port side cabin cushion seat , the 35’s stack flat real nice under the rear starboard corner seat, 2 or 3 35’s are real nice to balance the cabin for wakeboarding  by the rear seat base,

i have 6 50’s as well, 4 in bow and one each with the 25’s and 35’s in cabin for storage or riding, my bow 50’s ride on my empty mushroom sac when riding and cruising snd on the cushions on towels when surfing

surfing i run 4 50’s surf side bow and two non surf bow

300-330 surf side cabin under side seats and about 70-100 non surf cabin under observers seat  or near base of captains chair

we also run an empty pnp non surf rear, hard tank only

lead is like having 5 140lb shredders that have to sit where i want , even on top of each other
