Fuel pump whining - 2021 23 MXZ - M6di

I have a very loud high pitched whine that is pretty constant up until about 1500 RPM.  At that point I don't know if its being drowned out by everything else (and less obvious) or its going away.  

I'm pretty sure its the fuel pump b/c #1 is super loud under the center rear seat and #2 I have eliminated the vdrive/trans b/c I hear it when the injectors prime when first turning on the boat (before starting).  

This is SUPER annoying and hope that they aren't going to say it hasn't 'failed' so therefore not an issue.  Wondered if someone has had something similar. 

Update:  This went away once I used it some.  I think the fuel tank was over filled by the dealer and suspect the whine was it sucking air.  Has not returned.

It might be worth checking your fuel lines to make sure one isn't kinked.

@pauley71I've not had that issue, but my center ballast pump whines like crazy and doesn't drain, FWIW.
