2011 Malibu VLX - Surfboard Rack

Recommended Posts

New boat owner as of August 2020. We quickly realized the stock racks will not fit a surfboard. Looking for suggestions on the best surfboard rack replacement to buy. Wanting as similar look to the stock one as possible to match the other side. Swivel is another requirement. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Have you thought about replacing just the rack fingers?

Not sure what your style of swivel racks were used in 2011 but I was able to replace the ones on my 2008.

Yeah, ideally I am just replacing the fingers. There looks to be several different options/styles/sizes etc. this is where I am unsure of the best option for us.

I bought some forks from Samson a few years ago to replace the factory 2010, G3 tower. https://samsonsports.com

Happy with the size.... not sure if they list them any more, but they seem to fit most boards and also still fit wakeboards.

Thanks for the reply. Those are nice, but look quite a bit different from the factory rack that I will have on the other side. A little picky I know, but would like to keep it as similar looking as possible to factory. Is that a possibility or would I need to just bite the bullet and buy new racks for each side?
