Home made Battery box

Bought me some 3/8 plexiglass found a place that would sell me some remnants for cheap got about $30 in it. 

Wanted to be able to see my batteries also wanted to let any gases come out the back also it pulls right out if I need it out of the way.

made it like a box on top so I could store stuff on top also.

(I know I should have matching batteries but new boat an until its broke I'm not fixing it.

Only thought is with no back lip, whatever you "Store" on top will roll off behind your batteries.

I may add a l back plate if needed. It goes al the way back so no big deal for the stuff I plan on putting on top like towels and speaker and wakeboard rack socks. But will add if stuff starts falling behind it thanks.
