Solar Dock Light Suggestions?

I'm thinking about getting some solar dock lights.  They will be mounted on my Thru-flow decked dock, and for that I would prefer to use T or L-shaped bolts, rather than screwing them in.  And suggestions?

I'm not sure I can picture what you are asking... got a photo, a sketch, or something visual?

I have probably 10-12 of those lights on my dock and seawall. Make sure what ever you mount them with is something that you can remove so you can replace the batteries annually.

Thanks! But aren't they solar?  I have some solar  walkway lights but remove the batteries over the winder since they would just get covered in snow.

Amazon link.

From the description;

The batteries are replaceable:

For best results the battery should be replaced every 12 months.

1.Turn the switch to off on the back of the unit and remove the 2 screws. remove the 6 screws inside.

2.Replace the battery with a new 1.2v Ni-MH AAA rechargeable battery.

3.Re-assemble and turn the battery switch to auto.

4.Allow the solar deck light to receive a full 24 hours of sunlight so the rechargeable battery can reach maximum capacity.

  • 2 months later...

Late to this thread, but I have those lights and attached them to my dock just using a strong velcro. Works fine and can be removed anytime.
