High pressure fuel hose

Recommended Posts

Anyone know where I can find a replacement for this hose? It goes from the high pressure side of the fuel pump, to a high pressure filter. Side note... a red solo cup is a poor choice to use to catch gas..... it works for like 5 seconds.

Remove the hose and take it to a real auto parts store, such as NAPA.  They should be able to make a new one for you.  If they tell you they don't have the fittings, cut the old ferrules off with a hacksaw (down the edges, parallel to the hose), pull the fittings off, and go back to them with all of the parts and tell them that you now want a piece of hose and two ferrules crimped onto your old fittings.

@justgary Thanks. I had to use the hacksaw method and go to Thompkins to accomplish this feat. The 2 napa stores I went to didn't have much confidence it seems. I do feel I was scalped since I provided pretty much everything to them... the fittings and the needed hose.... they still charged me $37. But.... they can do it and I can't.

I'm glad you got it done!  It's a shame the NAPA stores couldn't help, but now you know who can do the fun jobs for you.
