Spark Plug wires for 2000 Sunsetter LXi

Recommended Posts

I’ve read all the existing threads and looked at Bakes, but I’m uncertain which wires are correct for my boat.

I’ve got the Indmar 5.7L 325hp 350ci Monsoon and the cap has 90 degree connections.

I’m tempted to just make my own if they no longer sell the numbered ones cut to the correct lengths.

Anyone have a link or part number for me?

They may not be as clean in the install but Chevy 350 truck wires from that era should work.  The only issue I had going that route on my VLX was the coil wire was too short.

Thanks, guys. I guess I’m right that they don’t sell them anymore. I’m going to make my own. They’ll probably be cheaper and better quality, anyway.

I ended up buying these in blue, plus a crimper: https://www.jegs.com/i/Taylor/895/70251/10002/-1

Installed these, yesterday. They’re perfect. Jegs branded Chinesium ratchet crimper ($30) is a must. While you can certainly crimp with pliers or a cheap stripper, I wouldn’t recommend it.
