Replacing bent strut part question.

Recommended Posts

Was so wrapped up in the interior this winter I neglected to give the drive train the needed attention.    Have some vibration so I took a look at the running gear.   Uncoupled the shaft and it’s very hard to turn and I clearly have a bent strut.    Looking at Bakes it says the XTI and FXi have unique struts.    Go figure.

Anyone have any knowledge of this?   Will make some calls tomorrow.

TIA

Give Minnesota Inboard a call. I paid a hell of a lot less than that Bakes price a couple of years ago.

Thanks.   Bakes ended up having one.  The angle is 12.2 deg.

I was actually able to straitened it with a ratchet strap wrapped around the trailer!
