Assuming it's the old XS-12 (and not it's heavier brother the XXX) it looks like those are a single voice coil 4 ohm sub good for 500w rms.

a 4ohm single voice coil sub is a bit of an oddball because most mono sub amps are rated at 2 ohms and put out less power at 4 (fully regulated amps like the JL HD series being the exception).  However, it's a perfect setup for a 2 channel full range capable amp bridged mono (where 4ohm impedance is the lowest you can typically run), so that might be a good place to start looking.  Probably something like an arc audio ks300.2, an older wetsounds syn 2 (which is based on the arc audio ks300.2 architecture), or if you wanted to stay cheap something like this NVX amp (I haven't tried but its specs suggest it would work).
