Any idea what the small compartment on the sun-pad is for on 2006 Malibu 247?

Any idea what the purpose of this compartment is for? It's a little lift door at the back of the boat, Ive had my boat a year and just now noticed it opens.

Don't think so, its just a small door at the very back with a compartment. Outside of holding three beer cans can't imagine what it would be for..

Ski rope and gloves.  Or a nice little mini cooler if you are parked on the sandbar

Three cold beers sounds like it was prefectly designed.

I tend to use those for binding lube, maybe gloves.

Although, gloves tend to be ski related, and lube isn't needed for surfing.....so neither tend to be as essential as they used to be!

Perfect place to store 2 bottles ... binding slime (wakeboard) and wax remover (surfing)

that’s how I use it.
