2020 Axis A22 stereo issues

Recommended Posts

Maybe someone out there can steer me in the right directions,  my A22 has the sp 3 package with all wet sounds amps and speakers, and on occasion the audio seems to  be at half of its normal power output. Now it seems to be like this all the time.  the malibu dealer can't find anything ( but they couldnt find a simple water leak either). I'm thinking  about checking my power output at the amps, then at the speakers etc... any other things that I could be missing?

Thats what I was thinking , not sure how to isolate the problem. I mentioned that to the dealer, but they weren't any help

Either auto volume or input source level. I.e. When I plug a phone in to usb, the volume is lower than when connected via bluetooth and phone volume is turned all the way up.

Some processor controlled amps have a power rollback mode for protection,. The two leading causes of entering rollback, is amp temp and low voltage. It would be rare for 2 or more amps to all reach high temp at the same time, so these low voltage at the amps, as a possibility.

Outside of power rollback, it points to something upstream at the source unit. When the issue is present, what happens if you switch to a different mode like tuner, AUX or USB? Is it just present on one more or all source modes?
