New to me '16 25 LSV, depth finder says 0 on second outing

I picked up a 2016 25 LSV last month.  Everything worked perfectly on the lake test.  On our first weekend out, the depth finder worked fine just like everything else.  The following weekend the depth finder reads 0 and the water temperature is obviously off by about 16 degrees.  I have a warranty but I know the dealerships are backed up and it's not a big enough issue to leave the boat there until after the season is over.  Just wondering if there's anything I can check myself or maybe it's battery voltage related?  No other issues with the boat.  Is the depth finder transducer and water temperature sensor combined in one part?  Thanks for any tips.

Dive under the dash and clean every connection you can find, then spray them with light oil.  Bus bars, connectors, everything.

Thank you, I will try that this weekend.
