Malibu Waterproof Wire Connectors

Hey Crew,

Does anyone know what connectors Malibu uses for factory connectors?  I plan to use the factory connection to hook up a new heater and some underwater lights.  I'd rather find a plug/connector that directly connects to the Malibu wiring rather than having to cut the stock connectors off.

Looking on Amazon and other sites- would rather order the right connector first than guess and check.

Thanks!

I think @oldjeep is correct.  I saw the PED on the plug, not Delphi.  After doing some internet digging with the "weather pack" search term, it looks like PED or Dephi is stamped on Delphi weather pack connectors.

Thanks for the help guys!

get some weatherpack compatible crimpers too.  Makes a big difference.

Any recommendations?  Amazon and similar websites are all over the board on price.

Never heard of them?  They are just normal pin end connectors.  Does the special crimper do both sides at once or something like that?

Ah - ok.  These are just normal pin crimpers that put in the double hump.  I guess I do have one

This is the tool I use. It's pricy but I do a lot of harness building and they crimp perfectly. They crimp the wire connector and the seal at the same time. I also Always, solder the wire after crimping. JIC.

The pin extractor tools are handy as well.

They also have the circle crimps for the rubber seals.

I guess I have been putting them together wrong then.  I've never crimped the rubber seal.  Guess I should take a look at one again ;)

Now I am wondering if I have crimped over one of those.  I'll have to look at the connector on my MC GPS and see.

Edit - I guess I must have, otherwise the rubber would be sticking out of the back of the connector.  Been a couple of years since I last used one ;)

The crimper I use crimps everything in one crimp.
