2019 23lsv prop question

I have a 2019 23 lsv with the 450 engine. I run factory ballast with plug n play and 500 pounds of lead. The boat is used for surfing and no wakeboarding in Minnesota so alititude is not an issue.

I have a 2277 and a 2249 prop. Anyone have experience with either of these?  I would rather get the right one on before I put it in and would have to change it in the water.

I've run both on a 2019 23 LSV with the PCM 409 and the 2277 worked best for me. I only used the 2249 as a backup or when at elevations over 2,000'.

Running both props at my 150' elevation, the 2277 will run 300 rpm lower than the 2249.

My only caveat is you need to keep the boat in balance and not run excessively bow high. Too bow high washes out your surf wave anyway, but also makes it so the prop is pushing towards the sky, rather than forward.

If your lead is mostly placed forward/bow weight, then the 2277 is your prop. If you park the 500 lbs of lead in the rear, along with PNP, you'll need the 2249 to get going.
