Surf Gate not working

I recently purchased a 2015 24 MXZ and just took it out on the water this weekend to find out that the surf gate is not working. I recalibrated the surf gate and it still didn’t work. I put the surf gate into service mode and both sides extended and then retracted when I ended the service mode. I tried all of the surf presets and everything works except the surf gates don’t extend. I tried the surf gates manually outside of the presets and it still does not work. I know that the speed needs to be between 7-12mph. 

 

The surf gates aren’t broke because they will extend in service mode but won’t extend any other time.

Had the same issue along with a wedge warning with my 2019 last year. The dealer reflashed the computer and no issues since.

There is a previous topic I posted with pics.  There are reed switches (sensors) that tell the computer the position of the surf gate.  They are a pretty common failure.  Try reading my previous post and see if that makes sense to you.
