Heat lamp for 28 degree night

Recommended Posts

It’s supposed to get down to 28 degrees for a few hours here in NC.  Any issues putting a heat lamp (like for chickens) in the storage area next to the engine?   Any other recommendations?   I’m trying to avoid any freezing issues.  Thanks.

I threw a space heater in mine for the night a few weeks ago when it dropped down to -2c or 29f. What engine do you have? I would be most worried about your heater if it is not closed cooling like the raptor models, as that will be the first thing to go and it is away from the engine under the dash.

That would be the ford then so you don't have to worry about the heater freezing. I also believe the new M5 and M6 are closed cooling as well for anyone else. Should be good to add it in there, just make sure it's not touching anything or won't lose power.
