Need prop help for surfing. 2005 lsv wakesetter

Recommended Posts

Need help with maybe selecting a different prop. Haven’t found out what prop is on the boat yet, but wondering what everyone has luck with. I have a 2005 wakesetter lsv with factory ballast. When the ballast is full and the boat is loaded with people it will not get to surf speed even at max throttle, just doesn’t have the power. It has the 340hp monsoon and has good cruise speed so I’d give a little top end speed up for more slow speed torque. I’ll update after I pull the prop to see what’s on it.

2419 will give you all the power to get to surf speeds under heavy load, how much top end loss will be determined by what prop you have currently.

2315 would be the next best thing, with a little more top end

+1 for the 2419 if you don't mind losing top end.  My top end with 2419 is 36 to 37 mph on paddle wheel WOT 5000 rpm at 3000 ft.  LCR 5.7 motor.
