Does anyone have any experience on both boats?  How does a 2015+ 22VLX with the wake hull compare to a 2012 to 2016 22MXZ?  Specifically wakeboarding and surfing.

Mxz has a wider and imho a better wakeboard wake. Haven’t ridden the 22, but have ridden the 23lsv of the same vintage.  Surf wake will likely be better on the Vlx. 

Really a preference thing.
