Spark plug recommendation 2015 A24

Recommended Posts

I’m a new boat owner and was wondering what spark plugs the factory recommends. Do you guys purchase these through your local dealer? Or go through your local parts store ( Napa, Kragen)

I have a 2015 AXIS A24 with the monsoon 350.
Thank you for the info.

The Resources section has the factory manuals

Manual says R030010 - which is a Crusader number for AC Delco 41-993   - the most common plug used in marine engines.  I just buy them off amazon or at O'reillys

you dont buy the different one listed in your indmar manual?, no big deal just curious

i use the gap out of the box .060 vs the manual stating .040?  when i removed my old ac delco they had the same .060 that came out of the new box

Manual is wrong.  Gap is .060, verified with indmar years ago.  I've used both the 41-101 iridium  and the 41-993 platinum.  Same basic plug, platinum is the better one.
