Need help identifing the water lines on a 96 malibu sunsetter. I'm installing a shower and heater and need help with water and where I should connect the lines . Any PDF files or information where I can get a layout of the motor would be nice

Generally, water should come out of the intake manifold near the thermostat.  You should find a plug in the manifold that you can replace with a 5/8" hose barb. 

Return water goes back into the circulating pump.  You should find a plug in the pump just above the J-Hose that you can replace with a 5/8" hose barb.
