Where to order transmission cooling lines for 1999 Malibu Response LX?

Did you try to re-use the same fittings on new hose ?

This is what I would do.  The inner barb part is probably fine still.  Slip a new ferrule over it, insert the hose, and crimp it down.

I have not yet tried to use the existing/old fitting with a new hose. I'm hoping to find a place where I can buy a new one that will work.

The NAPA store will fix the hose you bought with your old fitting.  Nothing wrong with the old one; it has only been used once!

But I certainly do understand using new hose... you are making me think about my cooler lines now.

You should be able to find a hose shop that makes custom hoses all day and will have more options than Napa if they can't help you.  Any reasonable hose shop should be able to match exactly what you have, assuming that you are in an area that has some industrial base, i.e. manufacturing, transportation, construction, mining, etc.  Google Hydraulic Hose and your city name, and I bet you come up with several options.

I crushed that part too.  Bend it back and put a second hose clamp right on the flared end itself.  Don't over-tighten.  I've been running that way for over 50 hours and no issues or leaks.
