Malibu Trailer Specifications

Recommended Posts

I've done some searching on here as well as on the Malibu website and didn't find the information I was looking for, so I'll ask the knowledge base here.

Does anyone have specifications on Malibu trailers?  I'm interested to know if the trailer weight is published anywhere.  I understand that the trailer weight is predicated on how it's ordered and what options are on it, but I would think there's a baseline somewhere.  Anyone have an idea?  @COOP, @IXFE??

It will likely be stamped on the trailer.  Maybe call Tommy's to ask if someone could stick their head down there?  That will probably be your best bet?

I just called and left them a message.  I figured someone here may have the information, but I agree.  It's likely stamped somewhere.

I have no idea actually, but have always assumed 1,500 lbs. for a tandem axle trailer like yours.  Are you thinking about upgrading your rig?

I'm likely not upgrading the rig this year.  I'm going to keep it for a while I think.  With the new boat and house addition, I'm going to save a few more $$ before I dive into another rig.  I put Timbren SES springs on last season and they were helpful but I was still experiencing a little more sag than I'd like.  So, I started researching this in an effort to reduce the sag.
