30% tint

35%

It had 5% on it when I bought it. It looked kick a** but I couldn't see out of it worth a darn. I wanted 25% or 30% but my tint guy couldn't get it or didn't have it. For what it's worth, my boss loves the 35%.

I had 20% on my last Malibu. It looked good but was too dark at times.

I like having a tinted windshield but still want visibility.

I had 20% on my last Axis. I LOVED the look but we took a lot of night cruises and I will admit at times it was too dark. I am going to do more research to see if I can find a different film and maintain the darkness from the outside or I will be going lighter on my next one.

Out of curiosity. What should I expect to pay for tinting a malibu?

I paid $235 for my 06 due to the curved windshield and $175 for my 15.  A friend of mine did that one and didn't charge me as much.

Night time visibility is never an issue for me @ 20% tint because if we are out at night it is warm and clear weather with no reason not to look over the windshield anyway. Only time we ever look through is if it's raining or cold. Neither situation is going to find me on the water after dark that way.
