Has anybody had success with these? I have a 19 25LSV with GX. Bought a cover for use with tower lowered from Commercial Sewing, Got the tower as low as it will possibly go. cover is still so tight I can't stretch it around the rear rub rail. Am I doing something wrong?

I’m guessing the ratchets are fully released?

Looks close. Shoe horn? 😜

Yes. I am very familiar with the use of the regular tower up covers.

Slowly pull/shimmy the corner down. New covers are a pain to get around the back.

And put some clear plastic over the cover to allow it to slide over.  It'll stretch.  Eventually.

You mean under the cover? I never would have thought of that. Are you talking saran wrap or more like construction poly?

I did finally manage to wrestle it down, with skinned knuckles to show for it. Thanks for your help.

@TwoMargaritasPleaseIs the tower down cover designed to work with the board racks on or off or turned in or...???  I have the Gx but I moved my clamping racks to the top location so I want to make sure it isn't designed for them to be on in the lower position only. thx

Apologies, I haven't been on this forum since December!

Racks have to be turned in. But you've probably already got your cover by now!

And yes, it did loosen up some so it is easier to install. I took on some water over the winter, I think because the vents are sideways rather than pointed down. I will tape them shut next winter.
